Our story

It began with a simple worry about fresh flowers.

Since 2016 we have farmed certified organic produce under Eco Organics. Marigolds began on a sister’s gentle nag — first small confirmed orders for temples and weddings, then a quiet referral network that still orders today.

How it started

One question, asked every week

Will the flowers still be fresh by the time the pooja starts?

Most of us buy flowers the evening before, or very early in the morning, and hope. They sit in a car, in traffic, in the heat of a Highveld afternoon. By the time they reach the altar they are tired.

So we changed the order of things. Every seed is planted by hand. We take the order first, harvest close to the day, and hand over at a time that suits your preparation — often one or two days before the prayer so you can make garlands. Lotus & Divya Light is how we streamline that care through this website, without losing the referral trust built since 2017.

Three things we hold on to

Reverence

These flowers are not decoration. They are being offered. We handle them that way from the first cut.

Hand work

From seed to box — planting, cutting, counting and packing by hand. Slower, and the reason heads arrive firm.

Keeping it possible

Preparing for Kavady or a festival is already a lot. Our part should be the easy part.

Who we serve

Temples, families and the people who carry the preparation

Devotees preparing for Kavady. Families arranging a pooja at home. Temple committees and community organisers planning a festival day. Florists and retailers who need loose flowers they can trust.

Whatever the size, the care is the same. We would rather do fewer boxes and do them properly.
